More information has come to light around Sunday's arrest of Springbok rugby player Elton Jantjies, who was arrested at OR Tambo International Airport shortly after landing on a flight from Dubai.

The 31-year-old was arrested at OR Tambo International Airport shortly after landing on a flight from Dubai.
Jantjies's agent from In Touch Sports, James Adams, confirmed in a statement that the flyhalf was arrested for allegedly damaging a light on the plane.
Adams believes the matter has been taken out of context.
"It's alleged that while onboard the plane, a light was damaged. We believe that the incident has been unnecessarily heightened. Our client however remains compliant with the investigation process and will address this matter with the seriousness it beckons."
