Arguments for sentencing in Baby X case to be heard in November
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
A Chatsworth mother convicted of murdering her three-year-old daughter will learn her fate in November.
The 35-year-old woman was found guilty in the Durban High Court yesterday - nearly four years after the child's death.
She appeared briefly in court this morning. The mother - who cannot be named to protect the identities of her surviving children - sat straight-faced in the dock today.
She wore the same black jacket she had with her yesterday. Court A was empty again today - just as it was for judgement.
There were no family members, community representatives or activists in the public gallery.
The grandmother to Baby X - co-accused in this case - died in custody earlier this year.
