Anxious wait for family of 17-year-old boy presumed drowned in Margate

The family of a 17-year-old schoolboy who is presumed to have drowned will be travelling back to Margate for formal identification tomorrow after police found a body on a beach there.
Learners from Sibongumusa High School in Wartburg had gone to the south coast for a netball and football tournament last week Saturday.
They stopped at Margate Beach afterwards for a swim in the late afternoon, but a few pupils then got into difficulty in the water.
Siyanda Buthelezi helped some of them to get to safety before he disappeared in the water.
Two other pupils, Zanele Vidima and Nomvula Zondi drowned. They were laid to rest yesterday.
Siyanda's brother, Lucky Buthelezi says the family is anxious to see if the recovered body is his.
"It is too difficult for my parents to accept what is happening at the moment. It is especially harder for my mom," he said.
"I can see that this is not easy for her because she keeps thinking about seeing the body. She does not believe it is him. She keeps thinking he will come home," Buthelezi said.
