Anxiety, tension as voting in Nquthu nears end
Updated | By Steve Bhengu
It's been mostly a day without any major hiccups during today's by-elections voting in Nquthu.
Parties have been campaigning furiously throughout the day and more so as voting nears an end.
Since 7am, some of the around 81 000 registered voters have been making their way to their voting stations with numbers picking just after midday.

Police did not have to deal with any major incident but they did have to calm down a situation at the Cassino Primary School where an argument broke out between IFP, ANC and EFF supporters who had all set up their campaign tables right at the entrance of the school gates.
"The IFP has removed their tent as well as the ANC. Later on, the ANC came closer. When I asked them to move they removed saying the IFP is still closer," she said.
