Another weather warning for KZN

KwaZulu-Natal residents are being warned again this week of scattered showers and thunderstorms.
The South African Weather Service issued out a yellow level 2 warning for possible thunderstorms and flooding in KZN from Thursday afternoon until tonight.
Heavy downpours, lightning, damaging winds and hail are expected over KZN today, with possible severe storms over the north-western and north-interior parts of KZN.

"Some of those storms have already started developing over areas like Pongola, north of Newcastle already has some thunderstorm activity, those are expected to last for most of the afternoon going on towards the evening tonight,” says forecaster Thandiwe Gumede.
"It is a 60% chance for today, with the extreme north-eastern part of the province only expecting a 30% chance."
