Another Spur video does the rounds

A has surfaced on social media, viewed over 300 000 times, showing what appears to be an attempted kidnapping.
The video - dated 1 November 2016 - was posted on Facebook by Dewald Wessels recently showing a man heading towards a young boy and picks him while his parents are dining at the eatery. He is then seen carrying the boy and walking in the opposite direction.
Online users reacted with outrage to the footage on social media.

The Facebook post with the video read in part:
"People please beware, always ALWAYS keep an eye on your kids when visiting restaurants, malls or any public area. This little boy was nearly kidnapped if it wasn’t for the vigilance of his mother and father who spotted the child being picked up by a person and taken away from the play area. From my conversation with the mother, criminal proceedings are underway…"
It's been reported three men and a woman were involved in the incident.
When contacted for comment, Spur's Group Marketing Executive, Sacha du Plessis confirmed the incident - saying a statement on the incident would be released soon.
An attempted kidnapping case has been opened at the local police station.
