Another fuel price cut expected in January
Updated | By Steve Bhengu
Mid-month fuel data is promising another fuel price drop in January but this, depending on the performance of the Rand.
There's been significant decreases in international oil prices recently.
The Automobile Association's Layton Beard says they expect next month's price drop to also be significant.
"The Automobile Association is predicting that we will see about R1,20 decrease in the price of petrol, R1,32 in the price of diesel. It is still early days and we are excited about the fact that there might be another significant decrease.
"We are tempering that with the news that the Rand/US Dollar exchange rate may act against this decrease," Beard said.
