Another foetus found dumped in Durban

Authorities are investigating after another foetus was found abandoned in Durban.
Provincial paramedics were called out to a sportsground in Bellair’s Vusi Mzimela Road yesterday. KZN EMS spokesperson Robert McKenzie says medics had just finished a case at Inkosi Albert Luthuli Hospital when they were directed to the scene.
McKenzie says the foetus was declared dead and the scene was handed over to police for further investigation.
"KZN EMS sadly had to declare an abandoned foetus 'deceased' in Bellair", he said.
"The paramedics had just finished a case at Albert Luthuli hospital when they were directed to the scene near a sports ground. The scene has been handed over to police for further investigation", McKenzie said.
