Another drowning tragedy strikes north of Durban community

Another person has drowned in KwaZulu-Natal this week.
This time at Sheffield beach in Ballito, north of Durban.
A 57-year-old man was pulled from the water by local authorities earlier this morning. He was reported missing last night, after his spearfishing partner could not locate him out at sea.
A search party was immediately dispatched - but they were unable to find him.
The National Sea Rescue Institute's Craig Lambinon says operations resumed this morning.
"On first light, they were doing an ongoing search operation - also assisted by members of the public and the spearfishing community. A body of a man was found below the surface of the water. The body was recovered and taken by the forensic pathology services," he said.
