Another councillor shot dead in Richmond
Another councillor has been gunned down in the Richmond municipality.
The Department of Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs says Sifiso Mkhize was shot dead last night on his way home.
He had been the municipality's councillor for Ward 2.
Co-operative Governance says Mkhize is the third municipal official to be killed in Richmond in three months.

MEC Nomusa Dube-Ncube says such attacks are a reminder of the sacrifices and risks councillors make to be servants of the people.
Dube-Ncube is calling on residents to remain calm and to work with law enforcement agencies to help authorities arrest those responsible for Mkhize's murder.
She says the department's thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones.
