Angie Motshekga to visit flood-hit KZN
Updated | By Celumusa Zulu
Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga says she'll be in KZN later this week to check on flood-hit schools.

Provincial officials say a number of schools have suffered some damages over the past few weeks.
They said mobile classrooms and other temporary measures were being put in place as the school year gets off the ground.
Motshekga says the department had expected some obstacles in KZN ahead of Wednesday's reopening of schools.
"I did get a report that in KZN we're going to experience problems, I'm going there on Friday when they release their report and also work with the province to say what is it that we do to deal with the floods that have really affected the province."
Speaking in the north of Pretoria, the minister also said initial indications point to good news when the matric results are announced on Thursday.
In the evening, Motshekga will reveal the national and provincial results for the National Senior Certificate exams.
Candidates will find out how they individually fared on Friday.
The Class of 2023 is counting down to those results.

"I'm not scared because I believe in myself, I know that I studied, I know that I am going to achieve. Even though everything was hectic, I ended up registering at University of Johannesburg."
Nontando Zondo, who's also from the northern KZN town, says she will embrace whatever fate awaits her.
“I'm not nervous, I will accept anything. I'm okay, I tried. I will receive my results via SMS.”
