Andile Mbuthu's family 'pleased' as accused denied bail
Updated | By Lauren Beukes
Andile 'Bobo' Mbuthu's family is pleased with a Verulam magistrate's decision, to deny bail to six men accused of murdering the Tongaat teen.

After several court postponements, the suspects - including tavern owner Mlungisi Thabethe - were told on Wednesday they'll have to remain behind bars.
The 16-year-old was murdered and his body dumped in a river in May, after he allegedly stole alcohol at a tavern.
"I'm very happy. I think this is a great step for Andile's justice. All we wanted was for the accused not to get bail," says his aunt, Zodwa Jali.
She says the family is still seeking closure.

"We still want some answers because we don't know what happened," says Jali.
The matter has been postponed to 17 August for further investigations.
A seventh suspect who is a minor abandoned his bid for bail.
