The ANC says it remains focused on addressing the problems facing South Africans, including load shedding.

The governing party’s secretary-general Fikile Mbalula delivered the main address at the party's 111th birthday rally in Hammarsdale, west of Durban, on Sunday.
"The president going to the State of the Nation must not only give hope he must say 'What is it in the year of decisive action for the people's interest is our government going to do?'"

Meanwhile, KZN leader Siboniso Duma has urged the provincial leadership to return to the ground and serve communities.
"We want the ANC government in KZN to move quick towards these priorities. People are going through tough times, they are losing hope of finding employment or setting up viable business."
