ANC 'not discussing Ramaphosa step-aside'
Updated | By Anastasi Mokgobu
ANC spokesperson Pule Mabe says there are no discussion around the need for President Cyril Ramaphosa to step aside.
This amid an ongoing investigation into the theft of foreign currency at his private farm in Limpopo.
Ramaphosa is being accused of kidnapping and bribing robbers who stole more than $4 million from one of his properties Phala Phala in Limpopo.
The allegations came to light a week ago after former spy boss Arthur Fraser laid a criminal complaint against Ramaphosa.
The EFF leader Julius Malema has since called for the president to step aside for the police to be able to do their investigation.

Mabe says the president has volunteered to appear before the party's integrity commission, which will be given space to conduct its work.
"We did say in the statement that we issued at the conclusion of the National Working Committee that was held yesterday. He did request to appear before the integrity commission voluntarily.
"The officials will also be processing the report on the matter which will come before the National Working Committee for further consideration. So, we had agreed that lets give officials the space to process that. That's how we work in the ANC, we allow matters to be processed.
"Once the officials have processed them, coming out of that if there are issues that requires us to share with the public, we do that."
Mabe says the ANC is nowhere near discussing Ramaphosa's future.

"We have not even arrived at the step-aside, we are not even discussing that. I saw that yesterday seeking to suggest that this might have been one of the issues discussed in the NWC, we did not even come to that point.
"We are not even discussing our president stepping aside. All we said was that officials must deliberate on the matter and bring a report."
