The report expected to land on the NEC’s desk include the ANC integrity commission's one on the Phala Phala farm matter.

The meeting is expected to last until early Friday evening.

It comes a few days before MPs debate and vote on an independent panel's report on the saga, which found that President Cyril Ramaphosa may have a case to answer on how he handled the theft of foreign currency at his farm in 2020.

ANC spokesperson Pule Mabe says discussions are held if reports require refining.

“The NEC is aware the integrity commission or the cadres of the executive committee have voluntarily submitted themselves before the commission.

“It is only fair for the commission to bring those reports forward, with their own observations and recommendations. The discussion is then held and if the NEC wants to take a position on those it does so."
