ANC manifesto no different from previous ones: Analyst
A political analyst believes that the ruling party's manifesto delivered yesterday at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth, was not an earth shattering manifesto that deviated from those in previous years.
"I think what was interesting was the fact that they brought in this notion of people's power. However it really comes to when you sign that performance agreement with councillors and make sure that those candidate lists are not two different lists," she said.
"What people want on the ground and what you have as potential candidates on your list has to find some level of intersection," Naidoo said.
Naidoo says that the coming weeks will be interesting in the country with oppositions parties also delivering their manifestos.
