ANC KZN: Zuma's matter with the Zondo Commission will affect the party
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
The Chairperson for the ANC in KZN, Sihle Zikalala says they cannot deny that the matter between former president, Jacob Zuma and the State Capture Inquiry will have an affect on the party in the province and nationally.

Zikalala made the remarks in the opening session of a two day ANC KZN Lekgotla in Durban yesterday.
It comes after Zuma, through his lawyers said that he would not appear before the Zondo Commission of Inquiry into State Capture yesterday.
The move defies a court order compelling him to appear.

Zikalala says they will continue to engage with Zuma, "These are issues that the provincial leadership will continue to engage with Former President Zuma on and ensure that we reason with them to find each other."
He said they will need to end it with sobriety and with that said preserving the law.
"At the same time ensuring the rights of individuals are protected."
