ANC distances itself from Glebelands hit-men
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
The ANC in KwaZulu-Natal says hit-men involved in political killings across the province need to be exposed, regardless of party affiliation.

"The law must be sent to them because that's the only way we will overcome the current crisis of killing," he said.
The ruling party has made the statement following accusations made during the Moerane Commission that the notorious Glebelands Hostel in Umlazi is a haven for hit-men - affiliated to the ANC.
It's alleged the hitmen were hired to go after councillors in the province - including three from Umzimkhulu Municipality.
The ANC's Mdumiseni Ntuli says they want to get to the bottom of this problem.
"If those people at some point during the day wearing the colours of the ANC and later decide to wear what's suitable for them to commit crime - they must be exposed," he said.
