ANC to discipline unruly members

The branch claimed irregularities and sought to postpone the congress, but the High Court in Pretoria dismissed their application.
The elective congress is expected to get underway in Johannesburg today.
National task team co-ordinator Nathi Mthethwa says the North West branch wasted their time.
''They are aware of the internal processes yet they decide to drag the ANC's name down. When they talk about some foreign tendencies within the ANC, this is one of them.
''The same people who have dragged the party to court will have to face disciplinary from the organisation,'' he said.
