Almost 5 900 active coronavirus cases in KZN

Thirty-seven people from KwaZulu-Natal are among those who've succumbed to COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.

Sixty-seven more people in the country have lost their lives, bringing the death toll to 16 734.
The total number of confirmed cases has risen to more than 674 000, after a rise in new infections by over 1 700.
Our recovery rate remains steady at 90% - which means 608 000 people in South Africa no longer have coronavirus.
KwaZulu-Natal has close to 5 900 active cases and more than 2 600 deaths have been recorded so far.
