Alliance of Citizens for Change on top of ballot paper
Updated | By Celumusa Zulu
The Alliance of Citizens for Change will appear at the top of the ballot paper for the general elections.

The political party has had the luck of the draw at the signing of the Electoral Code of Conduct in Gauteng on Thursday.
Political parties and independent candidates have pledged to abide by the code.
The Independent Electoral Commission will release the final list of political parties and candidates next week.

The IEC says the certified voters roll stands at 27.7 million, with KZN accounting for 5,7 million voters.
Chief Electoral Officer Sy Mamabolo presented the commission's readiness to conduct the elections.
"On 12 April, we will publish a list of all voting stations as well as their locations. There are more female voters than there are men; 15.3 million voters are female, while male voters account for 12.4 million. The provinces of Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal jointly account for 44% of the voters in the country."
Six cases are still before the electoral court, including an appeal by former president Jacob Zuma against his exclusion as a candidate.
"In the nature of candidate nomination processes, there are disputes which the electoral code is seized with. This may marginally alter the number of contestants as well the number of candidates,” Mamabolo said.
