It's alleged the women were assaulted in Fourways at the weekend, in the early hours of the morning.

Jacaranda FM News spoke to Duma, who claims the conversation between him and the deputy minister is authentic.

The deputy minister has however not responded to the allegations and the audio.

The ANC has released a statement, saying the accusations of violence against women is greatly disappointing.

The party has not been able to speak to Manana.

JacarandaFM News has also attempted to contact the deputy minister, without success.

Here's a transcript of the conversation.

Duma says he called the deputy Minister soon after the alleged attack.

Person 1: They came for some reason and we then saw them in front of us, they started insulting us and calling me "gay". Then there was a confrontation and fighting broke out but the people who hit them are the guys I was with. They even went to the parking lot, hitting them.

Duma: Mduduzi you are lying to me because if I go to Cubana now, I will get footage of what happened. I have sent people there now to get footage. Three things are happening now and I want us to meet. Let me tell you what is happening on our side. Number one, we are at the police station, first and foremost. Number two, I am on a line with you and if you were to lie to me, you know that your reputation will go down the drain.

You know what you did so do not lie to me. Tell me what happened, so that you can be honest with me - so that if the footage comes out that you had lied that you didn't touch my sister, that would be another day for you and it won't be a friendly day for you.

Person 1: My brother, when she swore me that I am gay, I did slap her.

Duma: Number one, how do you slap a woman when you know that it's 16 days of activism against women abuse and you are a deputy minister of this country that we vote for? And then  you are following women outside? You are following them outside to the parking lot to continue that. What kind of a man are you?

Person 1: I was no longer there my brother. I did not step out of the club. My brother, I was no longer there.

Duma: Mduduzi, Mduduzi, the footage will show. Can I ask if, if I were to find out where you live now and you had left your children and your wife there and I violated them - How would that make you feel? Is that what it will take for you to tell the truth? Because it's a phone call and a half because I have never met you but I have your number. It is a phone call to find where you stay, to find your car registration. I don' t give a f**k whether you are the deputy Minister of Higher Education or not. It is a phone call away.

Person 1 : I understand my brother.

Duma: So tell me now, did you get out of the club to hit my sister or not?

Person 1: No, no, not at the parking lot at all. I slapped her inside the club and I am sorry about it.

Duma: What are you going to do about this?

Person 1: I have spoken to Bab Duma, I am prepared to do anything, its unfortunate and I am not proud.

Duma: It's not unfortunate, don't use that word because whats unfortunate is me dragging your a**e around this Johannesburg. Is that what you want? Do you want to be a man? Because my father said bring all those people who were involved to him. Bring all those people you were with but you are scared. There are men from KZN here, we are here. You said you are a man, that's what you are saying? You are a man who hits women and thinks he can take advantage, well we are here now. I am going to give you a call and I want you to think of what you are going to do. If you don't, I will find your address and will come personally to sort you out.

Person 1: Okay my brother but you are now threatening me.

Duma: What do you want me to do Mduduzi? What did you do to my sisters?  What do you want me to do, as you are a man? Show me a solution as you claim your manhood. Come up with a solution before I come with one.

Person 1: Okay, its fine my brother.
