Alleged housebreaker makes a run for it from Westville Prison

Police are on the hunt for a suspected housebreaker who flew the coop at Westville Prison earlier today.
The incident took place at around midday.
Police spokesperson, Thulani Zwane says Njabulo Lucky Mbatha - an awaiting trial prisoner, accused of housebreaking and theft - managed to sneak out.
"We can confirm that Westville SAPS have opened a case of escaping from lawful custody after after a 32-year-old prisoner escaped," said Zwane.
"People had been doing construction in the area when the suspect escaped."
Zwane says the K9 Unit has been called out to assist in the search.
He says the incident is still under investigation.
