All systems go for ANC manifesto launch

Party members and supporters have started arriving at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth. The local community wants the party to address the issue of substance abuse in the area. ANC president, Jacob Zuma, will take centre stage. 

The party's Head of Elections and Campaigns' Nomvula Mokonyane says they have been warmly received all over. 

Yesterday though ANC Women's League President, Bathabile Dlamini, was reduced to tears after a crowd hurled insults at her and halted proceedings of the opening of a drug treatment centre.
