ALERT: Fewer buses operating in eThekwini
EThekwini's municipal bus operator, Tansnat has run out of diesel again and as a result only a third of the buses are running this afternoon.
City officials says while it works to sort the matter out, commuters should find other ways of getting home and to other places.
The municipality says it apologises for the inconvenience this will cause.
Tansnat has experienced fuel shortages numerous times this year, leaving thousands of people who rely on the bus service stranded across the city.
