AKA fans urged to mourn responsibly amid arrest reports
Updated | By Lauren Beukes
The family of slain rapper Kiernan 'AKA' Forbes says the law should be allowed to take its course.

Forbes was gunned down in Durban last month, along with his friend Tebello Motsoane.
There has been pressure on the police to solve the case, with the hashtag 'Justice for AKA' often trending on social media.
Others have been pushing conspiracy theories about who is behind the killings.

Over the past few days, there have been reports that several suspects have been arrested in Cape Town, but KZN police say there is no update on the investigation yet.
In a statement released on Wednesday morning, Forbes' parents say the family is deeply concerned that irresponsible actions, accusations and assumptions may cause more harm than good.
They have called on fans to mourn responsibly and to let the police continue with the investigation.
