AFU given green light to attach luxury house over KZN health tender
Updated | By Gcinokuhle Malinga
The AFU has given the green light by the Pietermaritzburg High Court on Friday to attach the house worth R1.1 million in Pretoria belonging to Nandi Msimang.

Its alleged Msimang's company was awarded a tender in 2013 to provide the department with mobile clinics on a lease basis.
After three years, the department bought the mobile units from the Mzansi LifeCare company at R31.2 million.
However, when the department tried to transfer ownership of the trucks and licence of the mobile units it found that Msimang misrepresented the fleet licenses, owed several amounts to licensing authorities and that the trucks did not meet towing capacity.
“Apart from the house, which will be kept under curatorship, the AFU will be seeking trace further assets, as the order granted is values at R31.2 million,” says the NPA’s Natasha Kara.
