Adverse weather sweeps through KZN

The SA Weather Service is warning of heavy, disruptive snowfalls in parts of KwaZulu-Natal tonight and into tomorrow morning.

The weather service issued a warning of an unseasonal cold snap yesterday.
The warning said communities across the country could expect cold and wet conditions from the middle of this week.
The mercury is only expected to reach 17 degrees in Durban tomorrow. Showers are also expected across the province.

Forecaster, Wisani Maluleke says a cold front is passing through the province.
"Very cold conditions are expected over southern parts of KZN. We have also issued a watch for disruptive snow over the southern high grounds. There is also a warning of heavy rainfall that could lead to localised flooding. We are also expecting damaging winds along the coast," he said.
