Addressing economic privilege first step towards equality: Malema
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
EFF leader, Julius Malema says the status quo of economic inequality is a recipe for revolution.
Speaking at the Rand Merchant Bank's Macro Forum in Johannesburg today, Malema said white people needed to acknowledge their economic privilege first.
"White South Africans are economically superior to black South Africans. The whites gained this through colonial apartheid in inhumane and illegal means. Failure to accept this basic reality is at the centre of our problem," he said.
