ActionSA demands answers over robbery at Ramahosa's farm
Updated | By Algoa FM
ActionSA president Herman Mashaba says he's written to the Reserve Bank and the South African Revenue Service asking for answers over the theft of foreign currency from President Cyril Ramaphosa's farm.
The incident came to light last week after former spy boss Arthur Fraser laid criminal charges against Ramaphosa, accusing him of hiding the theft from police.
Ramaphosa has since admitted money had been stolen from the property in Limpopo.
But he's denied any criminal wrongdoing.

ActionSA says it wants to know specifically from the Reserve Bank if any documentation was provided relating to any foreign currency transaction and whether any tax has been paid to the revenue service.
"In a country where the rule of law remains a threatened principal and where South Africans are exposed to much lawlessness, it is of grave concern that the president's statements this week would suggest he has broken the laws of our country," says spokesperson Lerato Ngobeni.
