Academic programme resumes at MUT
Updated | By Lethiwe Mdluli
Classes at the Mangosuthu University of Technology have resumed - following disruptions earlier this week.

Students were complaining about the allocation of student funding scheme allowances and a shortage of transportation.
SRC president, Sandile Dlamini, says they have reached an agreement with management.
"We have managed to engage management and find a bit of a solution. Management will reopen registration to accommodate students who are cash payers and who have not yet been registered. We encourage students to continue attending classes. We have already lost about two weeks," he says.
The university says it's appointed a new service provider to administer the NSFAS allowances while it has also added more buses to transport students.
