Updated | By ECR Newswatch
ABSA has confirmed that it has ended its sponsorship of 'Our Perfect Wedding'.
The bank's said on its official Twitter account that the sponsorship of the Mzansi Magic show has been cancelled with immediate effect.
'Our Perfect Wedding' was strongly criticised after Sunday's show with many viewers accusing it of perpetuating a culture of rape.
The episode showed the wedding of a couple who met when the husband was 28-year-old and the wife 14.
The man admitted to targeting school girls for sex when he met his future wife.
Mzansi Magic apologised for airing the segment that upset viewers - saying it will not broadcast the episode again.
Mzansi Magic has addressed the incident below.

At least now black people won’t be undermined with ads about personal loans when they’re watching #OPW

No apology for last night's #OPW from @ABSA @DStv @Mzansimagic. You promote statutory rape, beam it into our homes pic.twitter.com/GkmIbaKi9Z
