Some 34 000 KZN residents will kick-off the voting process on Monday.

The IEC's Mawethu Mosery says 11 000 candidates are running in the elections in the province - 207 are independents. More than 32 political parties are taking part in the polls.
"We are comfortable with the work we are doing with them and we've been able to share with them the drafts and the samples of ballot papers. We believe they are satisfied with that. The total number of our voting stations is 4700. They will all operate from 7am to 7pm," he said.
