Two of its members, Qedukwazi Mzimela and Phumlani Mbutho were travelling to Durban with their friend Senzo Ngema over the weekend when they were all gunned down.

The men's bodies were found on Umgeni Road.

ABC's secretary, Phumelele Phahla, says she grew worried when she couldn't reach Mzimela on his phone.

She made contact with his family, who told her that he was missing.

She says after a search, they were told the men's bodies were at the Phoenix mortuary.

"We are still shocked because we don't know what to make of this. No one knows what happened. At least if we knew he had arrived at the destination, but no one knew exactly where they were going. We are confused, and we are waiting for the investigation to start and we'll hear from the police."

Sydenham police are investigating three counts of murder.

Mzimela, a traditional healer, left home to perform duties in Durban North last Friday.
