The Honolulu Police Department released the 10-minute call.
The 29-year-old father of two was gunned down by the police on the woman's property two weeks ago, shortly after that phone call was made.
In the clip, the woman - who has a heavy accent and appears distressed - told the dispatcher Myeni's name.
"Someone is entering my house... He says he is Lindani. He is a South African"
She says she doesn't personally know him and that he was in her house.
Dispatcher: "What is he wearing?"
Woman: "He is in the house."
Dispatcher: "What colour are his clothes?"
Woman: "It's a black t-shirt."
Dispatcher: "Officers are on their way. Can you tell me what he looks like?
Woman: "I don't know."
Dispatcher: "Ok so what doe he look like? Is he white, is he black, is he Asian? "
Woman: "He is black."
Dispatcher: "Ok, officers are on their way."
The dispatcher then asks her to describe the clothes he's wearing, which the women then give a description.
Over the course of a few minutes, the woman is heard crying and grows more distraught as she tells the dispatcher he's gone outside.
This is how she responded when she was asked to go and check what type of vehicle he'd been driving.
Dispatcher: "Ok, so what kind of car does he have?"
Woman: "I am so afraid to go out and check."
Dispatcher: "It's ok, you don't have to go outside if you don't feel safe doing it."
Shortly before gunshots are heard, she says the man is stealing a car.
"That's him...that's him. He is stealing in the car," the woman says.
WARNING: The 911 call is not for sensitive listeners as it contains disturbing audio and gun violence.
