Nine people are receiving treatment in hospital after the taxi they were travelling in rolled down an embankment in the KwaNdengezi area outside Hillcrest this morning.
Emergency services say the vehicle landed on its roof near a home in Juba Road. Nine people, including a 12-year-old, sustained minor injuries.
ER24 says they were treated on scene before being taken to hospital.
Meanwhile, a man is fighting for his life in hospital following an accident on the M41 near the Ridgeside intersection in Umhlanga yesterday afternoon.
It's understood the man was found lying on the side of the road when emergency services arrived on scene.
Netcare911 says he was treated before being taken to hospital.
A 76-year-old man was killed in a separate incident on the north coast yesterday.
Medics say it appears as if the man had been trying to cross the R-102 in Shakaskraal when a delivery truck crashed into him.
