8 injured in Durban North crash

There's been a serious crash on Tuesday morning on the Rinaldo Road and Umhlanga Rocks Drive junction, north of Durban.

It's said the crash involved a mini-bus taxi and a vehicle.
Both vehicles overturned and came to rest on the side of the road.

Advanced Life Support medic, Garrith Jamieson says: "A total of eight people have sustained various injuries and were stabilised on the scene by paramedics before they were transported through to various Durban hospitals for the further care that they required.
"Recovery is still underway at this stage and the events leading up to the collision is unknown; however SAPS were in attendance and will be investigating further."
