Baby hurt in Durban taxi crash

Eight people, including a five-month-old baby, are receiving treatment in hospital after a taxi collided with an excavator in KwaNdengezi, west of Durban.
It is understood the accident happened at the Tom Tom and MR518 Route Road intersection.
ER24 paramedics say the driver of the excavator escaped unharmed.
All eight patients were treated on scene before they were transported through to a nearby hospital for further care.
Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the collision.
