74-year-old in Pmb hospital after Black Friday collapse
Updated | By Nushera Soodylal
A 74-year-old man who collapsed during the Black Friday rush at a major retail store in Pietermaritzburg yesterday, is receiving treatment in hospital.

Paramedics were called out to the scene and found that the man - who had collapsed at the entrance to the store - did not have a pulse.
ER24 spokesperson Ross Campbell says after twenty minutes of CPR and advanced life support interventions, paramedics managed to restore his pulse and rushed him to hospital.
“He had a history of heart attacks and being unstable but had no idea if that was related,” Campbell says.
