7 hurt in M19 collision

Fire fighters have extinguished the blaze on the M19, after a car that was in a multi-vehicle collision burst into flames near the Rodger Sishi Road turn off on Tuesday morning.
The collision lead to complete closure of the Pinetown-bound route.
Three vehicles collided, one was found lying on the Durban side.
Rescue Care spokesperson Garrith Jamieson says there was a second crash.
"While paramedics were attending to this, there was another collision in the backlog which has resulted in more injuries."
"On the first scene, we are dealing with a total of five patients - two seriously injured and three moderately injured."
"In the backlog, there are two patients have have been injured - one moderately injured and one minor injury," he said.
Traffic on both sides of the M19 is open.
