KwaZulu-Natal police have nabbed 60 suspects as part of Operation Fiela targeting suspected crime hotspots throughout the province.

SAPS, Metro Police, immigration officials and security companies have teamed up for the joint operation.
The troubled Glebelands Hostel in Umlazi was also their focus yesterday afternoon.
Officers raided buildings thought to be hiding criminals, conducted roadblocks and performed stop-and-searches.
In total 60 suspects were arrested for various crimes including attempted murder, robbery and illegal immigration among other things.
Police say drugs, liquor and counterfeit cigarettes were also recovered.
