6 hurt in Durban CBD crash

Six people have been injured after a bus and truck collided at the corner of Mahatma Ghandi and the Winder Street in the Durban city centre.
Rescue Care's Garrith Jamieson says motorists should avoid Point Road.
''Six people have sustained various injuries and were being treated at the scene by paramedics. At 1pm, Point Road was entirely closed off.
''I'd advise all [motorists] to please avoid the area completely. At this stage it's unclear what led to the collision however, police who were in attendance will be investigating further,'' he said.
Meanwhile, authorities are investigating a bakkie accident that has left five people hurt on the KwaZulu-Natal north coast earlier today.
It is understood the accident happened on the N2 highway between Mtubatuba and Hluhluwe.
KZN Emergency Medical Services says the cause is still being investigated.
