4-year-old Crossmore girl still missing

KwaZulu-Natal police search and rescue teams are still trying to find the body of a 4-year-old girl who was swept away while trying to cross a swollen river with three family members in Chatsworth on Friday night.
The four family members got into trouble while crossing the river in Crossmore south of Durban.
Officers recovered two bodies on Saturday morning. Police say rescue efforts have been hampered by the heavy rain.
A dog from the Umhlali K9 Unit was hurt while searching about 3 kilometres of the river.

Police spokesperson Thulani Zwane says rescue crews will continue their search today depending on the weather conditions.
"The members of the search and rescue team went back to try and look for those victims but they could not find them and because of the floods the operation was called off. The members will go back [there to continue with the search]," he said.
Meanwhile, police are investigating whether the body of a man found floating in the Durban Harbour yesterday is one of the four family members.
Relatives still need to identify the body.
