4 of SABC8 journalists back in court today
Updated | By JacarandaFm News
Proceedings were postponed yesterday after the public broadcaster failed to file opposing papers.
Trade union, Solidarity represents four of the eight dismissed journalists.
The union says they are confident the court will rule in their favour and have the dismissals set aside.
Chief executive, Dirk Hermann accussed the SABC of trying to avoid legal processes by not filing their opposing papers on time.
"This conduct of the SABC is in line with the conduct of the past couple of weeks. They simply ignore legal processes and they ignore court processes.
"It's as if they think that management can actually trump legal processes," he said.
