4 murder suspects arrested in Mariannhill and KwaNdengenzi

Four suspects believed to be involved in several murders in the Mariannhill and KwaNdengenzi have been arrested.
Provincial police commissioner, Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi says they were caught in Durban today and found in possession of a firearm.

"And it came to our attention that some of our members were attempting to release them and get a bribe from them so that they can release them. Not knowing that they had caught a big fish, so we are working in dealing with those members involved.
Again, we get information from the support through communities because they know these things and they share with us, so we are able to act."
Mkhwanazi confirmed the arrests at a briefing in Mayville this afternoon on the milestones achieved by the KZN SAPS over the last financial year.
