4 killed in KZN truck accident
Updated | By Shaun Ryan
Authorities are investigating the cause of fatal crash in the Hermannsburg area near Greytown that claimed the lives of four people.
It is understood a truck carrying bottled water overturned on the R74 last night near the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands town.
KZN Emergency Medical Services spokesperson Robert Mckenzie says only one of the injured survived the crash.
"Sadly, three people passed away at the scene of the crash and paramedics treated two patients who were both in a critical condition. Then another person died on arrival in hospital - bringing the total number of fatalities to four.
"At this stage it's believed that it was just the truck involved," he said.
