The dam supplies parts of the eThekwini, uMsunduzi, and uMgungundlovu municipalities.

The maintenance, which is expected to last for 30 hours, will start at eight o'clock tomorrow morning, and should be done by Wednesday afternoon.

The utility's Shami Harrichunder says the maintenance is necessary - to ensure an improved water supply service for the areas supplied by that dam.
