3 life terms for KZN man

A KZN man has begun serving three life terms following a shooting incident at a tavern near Kranskop earlier this year.
On Thursday Sbusiso Bhengu was convicted and sentenced in the Pietermaritzburg High Court for his role in an armed robbery in Ntunjambili in February. Three people were killed and two staff members hurt in the attack.

SAPS spokesperson Thulani Zwane says their search for his accomplices remains active.
"Our officers are still searching for other outstanding suspects following the attack at a tavern at Ntunjambili area", he said.
"One person has been convicted by the Piermaritzburg High Court and given three life sentences for three counts of murder, five years of imprisonment for each count of attempted murder as well a further 15 years for robbery", Zwane said
