3 injured in N3 truck crash

Three people have been hurt after a truck tyre became loose and rolled off the vehicle before smashing into the front of a delivery van in Durban.
The accident happened on the N3 highway near Paradise Valley Bridge earlier.
Rescue Care's Garrith Jamieson says one of the injured sustained serious injuries.
''It's unclear how the tyre came off the truck, however the necessary authorities were on scene and will be investigating. Paramedics found that three occupants from the delivery vehicle had been injured, with one sustaining serious injuries.
''Advanced Life Support Paramedics stabilised the patients on scene before transporting them through to a hospital for the further care that they required,'' he said.
