3 alleged brothels shut down in PMB
KwaZulu-Natal police say they have managed to close down three alleged brothels in the Pietermaritzburg area since the inception of a provincial task team established to crack down on such establishments.
Yesterday the task team made up of the PMB Tactical Response Team, SAPS members, a Cyber unit, an Asset and forfeiture unit, Home Affairs and Msunduzi Municipality closed down three alleged brothels.
Police say a suspect believed to be the owner of one of the alleged brothels was arrested during the operation.
They say this operation will continue in Pietermaritzburg and surrounding areas.
